Do you think that Darwin's Origin of Species was influenced by capitalistic thought?

There were some economists before Darwin that likely influenced his thinking process. His ideas might have been a derived version of Thomas Malthus population studies. He might have figured it out without it but it would be hard to see how that would not have influenced him.
