My Ipod froze. HELP! (Read Details)?

Oka, I had my Ipod, which is a Ipod video BTW, and i guess I discounected it from my laptop, which has happened many of times, so I plugged it bak in, but it didn;t show on Itunes, so when i looked at the screen of it, it was faded and it won't move of do anything! Not even turn off! And where it shows the battery, it shows the charging thing, even though i took it out! Please, please, PLEASE HELP!!! I don't want my baby to break D:
