I am in love but don't know what to do?

i have fallen in love with my ex and i am know going out with him again. Before in our last relationship he dumped me for some reason that I do not want to go in to. I am now going out with him but when we are talking like over the phone or by text or by msn he dose not seem to like me and then when we are with each other he seems it like me. But i want to know if he really loves me, he says he loves me but i really don't know if he is saying the truth, i am to shy to aks him if he is saying the truth and then i don't know if he will tell me the truth. What should i do?
