Get the surgery. I had several surgeries for it when I was a kid because my muscles kept growing. Finally when I was 21 I had my last eye surgery and my eyes have never been better. The last one was successful because my eye muscles were fully developed. Since your eyes are fully developed the likely hood of you needing more than one surgery is very slim.
