What do you think of the claremont colleges?

They're fabulous schools. Pomona is, of course, considered to be the best--many think of it as a "mini Ivy," akin to Williams and Amherst. It doesn't have as much name recognition on the East Coast as, say, Williams, because it's in California, but this is only true of people in general--employers, especially at prestigious companies, will certainly have heard of Pomona, and will be very impressed with a degree from there. Pitzer is not as well thought of. Scripps is, but it's not as well known, especially since it's an all-women's college. Harvey-Mudd is quite respected for engineering and science. Claremont McKenna is prestigious as well, though as I said, Pomona still reigns supreme.
