Possible to be rube AND horribly shy?

I know this girl that is really cute..though horribly shy.The funny thing is,she is also horribly rude! Most of the time she is quiet and you can just tell she is very shy ..but when she speaks she is just very blunt and pretty abrasive.I just thought the contrast was kinda strange in a way..though very interesting,most people are in the middle or one way or the other..never both! lol
