"Naturally" trying for the first time in a year?

My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for almost 2 years, we were given the news that my husband had some issues with motility. Recently we found out that that condition has corrected itself on its own. We Had an IUI last month to try and help us get pregnant, It worked but I miscarried very early. My doctor gave us the go ahead to try without meds or anything this month. Now that everything has corrected itself, from what I've read we still do not have the best chances of getting pregnant. I umed because everything was normal again we'd have normal chances again? anyone think it's likely we do have more normal chances?
